Discussion Questions
EMUNAH = Faith, Faithful, Faithfulness
- Paul talked about the "obedience of faith". James said "faith without works is dead". How would you describe the relationship between faith and action?
- Have you ever experienced a dark time in your life that you can now look back and see how God used it to strengthen you in some way?
- Jeremiah in his dark time concluded, "The Lord is my portion; therefore I will wait for him." What does it mean that the Lord is your portion?
- Pastor Peter sometimes talks about how faith is not a feeling. Have you ever acted in faith at a time when you "felt" things like "despair", "depression", "fear", "doubt"?
- How can we grow in our "faith" and "faithfulness" (Emunah)?
