  1. How would you explain "sin" to someone?

  2. How would you explain the word "substitution" to someone, as it relates to the gospel?  

  3. Peter listed several metaphors for the meaning of the cross.  Can you think of any other metaphors or illustrations that might help someone understand what Jesus did for us through his death on the cross for us?

  4. Why does Christianity fall apart if the Resurrection of Jesus didn't actually happen?

  5. How can the gospel get "deeper" into our hearts and how can this help us share the joyful news?
