Below are the readings for WEEK TWO of our journey through the Minor Prophets (an email will also be sent M-F with that days reading as a reminder). This week we centering around the book of Joel and the major theme that flows out of Joel which has to do with making sense out of suffering tragedies in our lives and in world. As you do the readings for the week, note that they are all related in some way to God's absolute sovereingty in history, in our lives and in salvation. Wrestle with these texts and also ask the question how do we balance these texts with other passages that speak of human repsonsibility to turn away from sin and to turn toward God.
