Your favorite Halloween costume that either you dressed up as, or that you saw someone else dress up as?
Discussion Questions
1. C.S. Lewis said, "Pride gets no pleasure out of having something, only out of having more of it than the next man." Can you recognize this pattern in your own life? How does the gospel undercut the basis for pride and boasting?
2. The gospel is both radically inclucive and radically exclusive. What would happen if the gospel were just a bit less inclusive or just a bit less exclusive? Would it still be the gospel? How would you explain the exclusive and inclusive nature of the gospel to someone who doesn't yet believe?
3. Peter quoted someone saying, "The Law drives us to grace, but grace drives us back to the law." Agree or disagree? How would you describe the relationship between the law and grace?
