Mongolia 2025 Information
This will be our first time sending a team from One Hope to explore partnering with Witness Mongolia (aka Seeds of the Heart).
Dates
- Tentative Dates: Aug 20 (Wed) - Sep 3 (Wed) [13 nights]
Total Cost: $3000/person (estimate)
- Flight: $2000 (though we may find a cheaper flight)
- Hotels: $650
- Other: $350
Team
Ideal team size would be between 4-7 people (max of 9).
Itinerary
We would fly into Ulaanbaatar (UB) and spend several days there. In addition to some sightseeing, we will participate in worship at the 2018 church plant called City Vision Church (Peter will preach that morning, others of us can perhaps take part in other aspects of the service). We will visit Terelj National Park and stay in Ger/Yurt for one night and 2 days. Sightseeing & traditional concerts.
We will then drive two days to Zavkhan province visiting villages along the way and encouraging small worshipping communities. In Zavkhan we will help lay the groundwork for a church plant there in the coming year by encouraging local believers and doing some prayer walking. This province is one of the most religious and has many spiritual strongholds.
We will then drive the two days back to UB and be there for a day or two before our flight home.
Financial Assistance
One Hope typically has granted at least $500 per person for mission trips. Where more financial assistance is needed, you can submit requests for additional funds, and/or we can discuss together doing some joint support raising.
Deadline
We are looking for final commitments by April 30, 2025.
