Message AudioMoreThis introduction to our new series going through the Gospel of Mark provides us with "three links", "three questions" and "three responses" for us to be looking for as we travel through this action packed Gospel.
Message AudioMoreIn chapter one of Mark we learn of Jesus' practice of going out early in the morning and spending time with his Father. If Jesus needed to spend time with His Father to prepare Himself for the day, how much more we? Let's learn how together.
Message AudioMoreMark chapter two contains four scenes which has some common elements that tie it all together. What are they? Find out in this weeks message.
Message AudioMoreOne of the most troubling passages in the Gospels is where Jesus mentions the "unforgivable sin". What is it? Find out in this weeks message.
Message AudioMoreThe parable of the Sower is really about the power of the Seed. Learn what that means in this weeks message.
Message AudioMoreGuest preacher Eric Dooley continues our series in Mark. Eric has been a missionary and currently an outstanding Christian counselor in the Gig Harbor area.
Message AudioMoreLots of action in Mark chapter 6. One key lesson. It's all about the connection between faith and power. But that connection is all about Jesus' power, not ours. His authority, not ours.
Message AudioMoreSome of us, are still trying to fix the externals of our lives, to make ourselves clean, but still deep inside we don’t feel clean. And no amount of positive thinking helps to remove the self-doubt or the need to try to validate yourself or look good in the eyes of others, trying to convince yourself that you’re okay. But you’re not okay. You have a heart problem.
Message AudioMoreDo you struggle with depression? Here’s the solution. Deny yourself, and take up your cross and follow him. Do you struggle with worry and anxiety? Then lose yourself for Jesus and for the gospel. Do you have fears that seem to control you? Then the answer is here: deny yourself and take up your cross… Do you harbor bitterness and resentment over things done to you? Deny yourself and take up your cross… Do you fear death? Then don’t wait for death to come – die now! Why wait for inevitable. Death will come to us all. ...
Message AudioMoreJesus wants to invite you into his inner circle. He wants to elevate you into the place of his presence. Ephesians says we are seated with Christ in heavenly places and that we will one day be reigning with Christ, and judging the angels. You have a high calling. He wants to use you, reveal things to you, he invites you to be his partner in the kingdom work he calls us to!
Message AudioMoreHaving saving faith is so simple, Jesus said, that the best ones capable of it, capable of receiving the kingdom, capable of saving faith, are babies and small children. In fact, not only are they the best ones, they are the only ones capable of saving faith – you also as grown-ups, in order to have saving faith, must be converted like children (Matthew 18), converted to a child’s state of simple faith, even to a babies state of simple utter dependence, in order to receive the kingdom.
Message AudioMoreThroughout chapter 11 what we see is a demonstration of Jesus’ authority, of his ownership of things.
Message AudioMoreDuring our Easter message based on Mark 15 we look at the uniqueness of Christianity and uniqueness of Jesus!
Message AudioMoreHow can we know there really is life after death? And if there is life after death, what is it like? That's what we explore in this weeks teaching.

Message AudioMoreIn week two of our series in John we look at John the Baptist and how he viewed himself and how he viewed Christ. Turns out he didn't even really see himself, he just saw Christ. He is still zealous for His temple. He is zealous for you!

And what does it mean to be born again and how do you know that you are born again? Those are the questions tackled in this message on John 3:1-15.
Message AudioMoreIn this weeks text we return to John the Baptist who we spent time with in chapter one. John, the gospel writer, seems to be offering us a contract between John the Baptist and Nicodemus who we looked at last week. In this weeks teaching we ask the question where does your joy come from? For John the Baptist it comes from Christ. But can we really have that kind of joy even when things are not going well? Message Audio Message VideoMoreIn this weeks video D'Vante brings a teaching on worship as we continue our back to basics series called REBOOT.
Message Audio Message VideoMoreIn this final message of the series we look at the topic of PRAYER. It's more than praying through a list. It's seeking God's face and going for the glory.
Message Audio Message VideoMoreIn this opening session, Pat tells of a spiritually dark time in her life. Though she was a long-time Christian and a missionary, she lost connection with God, and wandered in the darkness of doubt and guilt. In response to her cry, God sent an unlikely person to lead her out of darkness back into the Light. Oh, the wonder of God’s unconditional love, of absolute absolution and of the power of the resident Holy Spirit! Imagine the startling announcement to a perfectionist: "Isn't it great to know you're free to fail?"
Message Audio Message VideoMoreIn this second session, Pat explores the biblical construct of the universe: The Kingdom of Darkness and the Kingdom of Light. Imagine the relief of being rescued out of the Kingdom of Darkness! But then, there is no other way out. Imagine being adopted in the Perfect Kingdom! There is no other way in! First video and audio link is for her sermon in 2021 and then the full clas recording from 2016 is also included below.
Message Audio Message VideoMoreIn the third session, Pat seeks to verify the validity of this ultimate absolution by exploring the Word of God. “On the basis of the Word of God and what Jesus Christ did for you on the cross, I hereby declare to you the total forgiveness of all your sins, past, present and future!” Really? Can that be true? Is that right?. Imagine this: it’s true! First video and audio link is for her sermon in 2021 and then the full clas recording from 2016 is also included below.
Message Audio Message VideoMoreIn the fourth session, Pat seeks answers to questions. If I’m forgiven, how come I still feel guilty? Or, since I’m forgiven, how come I still feel guilty? These questions plagued Pat and the answers take up the next three sessions. The truth is that though we live in the Kingdom of Light, we have enemies out to rob us of our joy…Satan, the world and our old nature...sources of false guilt. It takes discernment to recognize the lies and accusations of Satan. Imagine: we have been given authority over him!
Message Audio Message VideoMoreIn the fifth session in the series, Pat seeks the truth behind tough questions. Another title for this session could be: The Ottas and the Gottas and the Shouldas. These are messages we pick up from our surroundings...our “world.” Why can’t you? Why don’t you? Why do you always? These are not honest questions. They are veiled condemnations, meaning you are not ok the way you are. You don’t measure up. This is another source of false guilt. Imagine how freeing to be able to say, “I am not on trial and you are not my judge!”
Message Audio Message VideoMoreIn the sixth sermon in this series, Pat seeks to unearth the cause of false guilt and how to defeat it. Self-condemnation is yet another cause of false guilt. It goes like this: we decide to do better, we mess-up, we berate ourselves, judge ourselves, beat ourselves up. “How can you be so stupid, or dumb, or careless, or...” The guilt piles up as we rehearse the scene over and over again. There seems to be no way out. Imagine confidently declaring to yourself: “There is ... now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.”
Message Audio Message VideoMoreIn this seventh and final new message in our Livin' Forgiven sermon series, Pat shares about four marks of the Kingdom from the Upper Room discourse in John: Radical Humility, Radical Dependence, Radical Love and Radical Obedience.

Jesus gives us what each of us needs to believe if our hearts are toward him.

Message Audio Message VideoMoreWhat was Jesus' love language? Same as the love language of humanity. It's all in our text for this week, John 13:1-17.
Message Audio Message VideoMoreJudas and Peter both denied Christ in their own way. And both were deeply sorry for what they did. One ended up hanging himself and the other became the leader of the church. Why? What was the difference maker between the two? That's the question that this message seeks to ask.
Message Audio Message VideoMoreWhat is heaven really like? D'Vante explores that question in this weeks message based on John 14:1-6.
Message Audio Message VideoMoreHow can you really know what God is like? The book of Hebrews says that Jesus is the exact presentation of his being. If you want to know what God is like... look at his Son Jesus. Our text this week communicates the same thing. Jesus says if you've seen me, you've seen the Father. He is what the Father is like. So in this weeks teaching we did a blitz through the gospel accounts to discover four things that describe Jesus... and the Father. The first two are predictable. The second two may surprise you. Listen this weeks message to find out what they are!
